32 with no socks older than 20 years old.
I know this specifically because I still have 2 pairs of the socks my Grandma sent me for Christmas in 1994; the year I moved to this state. I got a package in the mail full of little packages. I was so excited wondering what she could have possibly sent. My Grandma was awesome; spoiled me good...but she wasn't a practical joker. They were all socks. Each pair wrapped in a nice, neat little bundle. I think she figured i'd be happy to have a bunch of things to open. I love my Gram!
I haven't thought about that in ages!

55 and I have a birthday next month, too.
i'm 52 years old. and my socks don't last more than about 4-5 years before developing holes in the heels -- and i buy socks with reinforced heels.
