I think it is originally British. Heinz has a plant in California, where they make it, it is not sold in Ohio, so I found it at amazon under British foods and bought it.you have to get it imported from England!

Oh yeah!!!IMO, nothing beats a hot Reuben: corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing on toasted rye bread.
PB&J for something quick, but I make a homemade chicken salad that I think is pretty good.
A list of the ingredients:
chicken breasts, boneless/skinless, baked and chopped finely (I use a chopper)
Miracle Whip
a bit of celery, very finely chopped
red onion, again finely chopped
sweet pickle relish, drained
salt
black pepper
and the secret ingredient: a pinch of nutmeg!
I made up this recipe myself, so I don't do exact measurements. I also make turkey salad in the same basic way after Thanksgiving.

I was trying to thank Nurseangel for the recipe. I will defiantly be trying it because I really like chic salad. For some reason it didn't work the first time I tried to quote Nurseangel

I love liverwurst and onion with mustard on crusty French breadOk so a new restaurant just opened called Craft Kitchen. We went yesterday. I ate a BLT salad. But it was like an open face BLT. 1 slice of texas toast, fried green tomato, melted white cheese , lots of bacon, avocado, roasted corn , dandelion greens, and a sweet and sour dressing. It was so good. I ate half for lunch and brought half home for dinner.
When I fix my own sandwich I really like Braunschweiger and american cheese on white bread with mayo. Side of chips and a glass of milk. Growing up we called it liverwurst or liver sausage. Funny thing is I do not like liver at all.
i don't eat sandwiches all that often. my absolute
favorite would be a fried egg sandwich with cheese. i also like grilled cheese
How do you make a fried egg sandwoch
the way i make a fried egg sandwich is to fry two eggs and at the end of frying them place a slice of cheese over the top and turn off the heat. i use untoasted bread for my fried egg sandwiches, but you can use toasted bread too. i place the fried eggs with cheese on one slice of bread and set the second slice of bread on top.i don't eat sandwiches all that often. my absolute

good point -- the fried egg sandwich can be eaten with hands (made easier because i always fry my eggs so the yolks are hard), and the breakfast burrito is generally eaten with hands. but the egg in the middle is a knife and fork kind of meal.@mickNsnicks2mom
I thought a sandwich was eaten withb hands but this is obviously knife and fork. It sounds delicious.
No buttito's here unfortunately. I'd love to try Mexican food.
No bacon grease here either but of course butter can be used.
Thank you for all your breakfasts.
