I'm still working out a rotation for my cats as far as food. Right now, it looks like their main meals will be Soulistic Good Karma Chicken, TikiCat Koolina Luau and Sheba turkey and chicken pate flavors. I've also been feeding some Nature's Variety duck flavors to them.
They loved the can of Instinct duck I got them, but it's so expensive! I noticed on Amazon I can get 24 5.5oz cans of Petcurean GO! Sensitivity and Shine Duck for $43, compared to $30 for 12 cans of Instinct, but while the Petcurean is grain-free, it seems to have more fruit/vegetable ingredients. (It also has potato, but that actually might help my IBD kitty a bit.)
Has anyone compared the two? And is there anywhere I can buy a couple individual cans of Petcurean to let my cats sample it (and see if it's going to cause poop problems)?
(Also, I notice both formulas have dried kelp. The Nature's Variety LID does not, but none of them really care for that. Is dried kelp just another word for carrageenan?)
