Hellooo everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted, but I have been super busy with moving and graduating and all sorts of crazy stuff. I am back living with my parents for now because I couldn't find a job in my old town. After Abby and Rudy passed, my mom really missed having a cat of her own (although she loves Bowser!). She swore she wouldn't get another kitten again and spent over a month searching for the perfect adult cat. But then she saw a picture of 5 month old Murphy from a rescue site and she was in love. He was born in a feral colony, but was so friendly that the man taking care of them gave him to a rescue organization. He needed to be socialized, but after a couple months of him being with us, you would never know he was feral except for his tipped ear. Not to mention he is absolutely adorable. Eeeep :3
Some pictures from Christmas time. Someone actually posted these pictures to 9gag.com and he made the front page! LOL. It got like 200k views.
He is so tolerant. He let me put a bow tie on him (briefly!)
This is Murphy the day we brought him home! He was about 6 months old at the time and still very shy. He hid under the bed for a couple days, but couldn't help but come out for cuddles occasionally.
Meeting Bowser for the first time. They got along right off the bat, although Murphy loves to bother him!
Cuddle times.
He's grown a lot since this picture was taken 2 months ago!
Bowser has absolutely no table manners, and seems to think everything sitting out is fair game to sniff and taste test. We can't leave ANYTHING out. Not for a second. This is what happens.
Contemplating...
Annnnd he ate a crumb. Great.
Showing off his table manners once again. We try not to encourage this, but it's hard to get mad at him when he's looking cute.
And this is Murphy now at almost 9 months old! He spends 24/7 pestering Bowser. As you can see, he is thrilled.
