Today I noticed that Sophia little bum was swollen, not red, normal color, but looked a little swollen. I washed my hands, and touched it see if it caused her any pain, and it didn't. She didn't cry or move away at all.
I did noticed yesterday, that she did eat a lot (for she is nursing kittens at the moment), and pooped just as much. It was a loose stool, which I brought that up to my vet's attention the other day when we were at the vet's office, and he said that sometimes with pregnant/nursing cats can have loose stools due to hormone levels and such. She has been treated for worms numerous times, and is due to be treated again.
But I just wanted to see if anyone could give me any insight on what may cause her bum to be a little swollen. Again, not red at all or painful to the touch.
She is eating, drinking, and still very active. Just was curious if it can just be a little irritation from pooping so much yesterday.
