Hey Folks,
I came home from working to find Loki in his cat safe room, with blood ALL over! He must have gotten his tail stuck in a blind or under furniture. I am not sure which.
Well, I rushed him to the clinic and they preformed surgery. He is missing part of his tail, since you could see the bone and stitching that area is pointless. Pointless medically, plus he would just tare that area even worse then it was.
He did survive anesthesia, which is my major concern since he is a hybrid (I know a lot of you will fight me on the issue that he is a normal cat). But so far, so good. I am staying with him tonight, then I will take him home tomorrow. Cone and all
.
Vibes that he does not have a URI flareup that is major, that he leaves the tail alone (does not "self amputate"), and that I live threw the event.
