Our family rescued a kitten 2 weeks ago at a barn. It looked like it had been dumped, but was healthy and clean. We have a vet appointment next week for first kitten shots. However, 2 days ago she developed what I think is likely ringworm on her face. Is there anything we can do between now and the vet visit to start healing this? I have been reading that monistat cream is a good option.

Hi. There is nothing you can do until you see the vet. Anything topical on a cat will be licked off and consumed. Also can get into the eyes. And just won’t work.

it may be something other than ringworm. Just leave it alone until you see the vet.
