I visited the horse shoe falls on the Canadian side. Very tourist-y, but, the views of the falls were spectacular.

If you ever return, go downriver a few miles to the Royal Botanical Gardens, and the Butterfly Conservatory located there. It is something to see, but is missed by most tourists.

I doubt I'll see a vacation again in my lifetime, but, if I did go I think the conservatory is the first place I would visit. It sounds gorgeous.
