  • Mama cat
  • Baby cat
  • Midnight (went missing the first night he was let out)
  • Sissy
  • Bubby
  • ShunShun (Current)
  • YanYan (Current)
  • XiaoXiao (Current)
  • LiLi
Colors are to show the generation they belong to, most of them are within 1-3 years of age. We hope to add another wee tortie to the family. I’m thinking MeiMei so that her name is the letter after LiLi.

My god child lol
  • Skitters (LiLi’s big brother)

I’ve always felt like the y/i ending is natural because it makes a good pitch for calling them 😆

Honestly, we've had so many cats over the years i'd have to start thinking back starting with our first two which were Harpo and Chico. Rather than list them all the last two were Neely and Gizmo and, of course, our present love bug, Carleton. 😻 All the cats were adopted/rescued with the exception of one.
I've shared my life with so many cats we've literally recycled names.

My sweetpea Ebony (Rainbow Bridge - brain cancer what got missed cause the vet thought at first it was her asthma causing her problems again) - left me at the estimated age of 7 and will always and forever be missed

Tigger and Willow are my current two :heartshape: Tigger's 12, she wants ALL THE LOVES, (Queen) Willow who believes she rules the universe, is less trusting, particularly of men and children (she HATES children and she blames men for the existance of children - apparentlya man giving food to Willow magically makes human babies appear)

forgot to say Willow's age: she's about 8 or 9

As a child, I never had cats of my own but always grew up around cats; and my family have been cat lovers for many decades - there are black and white photos of my grandfather as a child holding the family cat. Some of the cats from my childhood:

Simba (the cat I was closest to, my aunt’s cat)
Daisy
Scamp
Chilli and Pepper

Our first cat (30 years ago) was Cocoa. He was a stray, but he had apparently been abandoned by his owner....he was neutered and declawed. After we lost him, we adopted 3 at the SPCA (Sadie, Sassy and PJ). A woman had developed cancer and could no longer care for the cats so she surrendered them. Our vet estimated that they were about 7 years old. We decided not to try to give them new names, so we just used the names their previous owner had used. Our next cat was Lexi (adopted from the SPCA). Our daughters found Loki at our local Animal Control when he was about 10 weeks old and gave him to my wife as a Christmas present....he is the cat that we just had to put to sleep a couple of weeks ago. Our last 2 cats were Bonnie and Clyde (adopted from the Humane Society).

We are catless now. But, after some traveling, we plan to adopt 3 furballs in June.:whiskers::whiskers::whiskers:
