So I want to follow Dr. Pierson's recipe from catinfo.org

Making Cat Food

The thing is I don't have a meat grinder. But I do have the vitamix 5300, can't imagine it won't be able to grind up meatless chicken, turkey, and rabbit. Though not sure about bone.

Anyone else use blenders to make cat food?

I had a friend who tried using her food processor (not sure what type) and it wears down the blades really fast to have the bone in there. Wouldn't recommend it. But chunks of meat seem like they would be fine in a blender, and eggshell powder can be used instead of bone. That's what my friend has switched to now, and it's working well for her.

Good luck, whatever you decide to do!

Yeah idk, Vitamix are really powerful so I'll have to test it out, but some others seem to use it no problem.
