I actually just picked up some lemon deoterizers from Walmart that are working pretty well, and neither cat has refused the box since!

Be careful with the deodorizors in the box. It's really, really strong for their noses and respiratory systems. It will not be ok for jasper when he starts using the box.

I should clarify. I have a litter box in the back of a large plastic stroage container from walmart. Its about 3 feet long and 2ish high. Its in the front of that and the litter pan is in the back. But i will definitely switch things up when he is with me full time, thanks for the heads up!

It's a very clever set up!

I wouldn't be comfortable with putting the air fresheners in for my cats. I think it's too much fragrance for them and too overwhelming for their sensitive systems. And if it's the diet that's causing the smell, there's still an issue. Cats also don't like citrus.

Can you put them near the boxes without being inside?

Ive never heard that cats dont like citrus, figures leave it to walmart to sell a product for cats that is also bad for them -_-

Yeah i can definitely move them. I will say they are working wonders though hahaha
