Zoey (see post below about albumin:globulin ratios) is coming home from the vet today. I am excited to see how she is. The vet says she seems to be doing better after the IV fluids. However, he is still convinced that she has FIP. I say: even so, I can try to keep her healthy.
I can't put her to sleep when they can't definitively tell me FIP is what she has, and when there are still things I can try. If she gets home and her health and attitude begin to deteriorate, then I'll revisit the issue. Also, she apparently had a pretty good case of ear mites, so maybe she'll react to treatment for that.
Does anyone feed their cats using a raw food diet? Especially anyone in Canada - where have you found all the supplements needed? Does anyone have any companies that sell good "mixtures" to make raw food with? I came across a couple, but of course forgot to bookmark them, and can't seem to find them again!
Any help or advice would be great!
Thanks!
