Would love insight on my girls type

New member here: I rescued both my Calicos and was curious as to their underlying breed since I believe Calicos are not a breed.

The breed is surely domestic.  Youhave right, calico is color / pattern, not breed.

Although some of her coloration is not so common - these parts on the tail for example.

Your kitty is most certainly a Calico. You are correct,she is a domestic kitty with the Calico coat. She is truly beautiful,enjoy her.
