I've seen other cats with this same kind of coat color but have always wondered how to describe them and what breed they resemble. Can someone enlighten me? Oh, and...hello, I'm a newbie here. Been looking around...really like the web site.

I can't tell from the pictures but I'm guessing he has a black spot on the top of his head.
So his colour would be a high grade white and black domestic shorthair

Hi, welcome to TCS. 

   I am not sure if your little kitten has this dark spot on the head or if it is shading and all white?  Can you let us know, or post another picture?   Also, what colour are the other cat's eyes? Is this your kitten's mother or father?  They look lovely.

most of my white cats have a gray stripe on their head. Looks like mohawks that sort of split off between the ears. The bigger cat in the picture is the father. His mohawk is very very light. His eyes are Yellow. I have some white cats that do have blue eyes... like the one in the chair with Wolfgang (the bigger cat) and the kitten as well has blue eyes.. One of my white cats eyes are sort of blue but sometimes red like an albino.
