One pic is not enough.  :)  But egyptians mau are sort of  spotted tabbies, no?  Tabby is dominant, yours is no tabby, so the egyptian ancestry must be far away if any.

However, the aegeian cat (a natural breed from the greeks islands)  do carry these here colors and pattern.  And these cats do occur qiute frequently also in the countreas around, alike Lebanon.  and probably Egypt too.    So it may be THIS way he has some Egyptian connection.   - IF you know for sure he is coming from Egypt, that is.

Otherwise you must contend to call him a domestic black and white bicolor...   :)
