hello , i adopted new kitten from catshop since my old one ranaway :(

The shop owner says its persian american
Im not quite sure but he looks cute

He's a gorgeous little fluffball and I want him. I can't answer your question but I'll be interested in what the others say. It'll help if you have an age and weight I think.

What a cutie! I'd say not a Persian, he has too much muzzle length for even a doll face Persian. By American I'm guessing the shop owner meant American Shorthair, which your kitty can't be either, because he's a longhair. My best guess would be some possible Siberian influence, since he has that nice round head, heavy boning, and long, thick fur. Without a pedigree or a DNA test, though, he'd technically be called a silver classic tabby Domestic Longhair.

The coloring is nice. may even turn out to be some type of silver shaded (classic tabby as said above).

Not so common among the general population, which hints he must have some sort of Ancestry.

Yes true, its as I said, the coloring here is not the most usual. :) This is why I added this remark. :) Exactly what he will be, is too early to say now, but even as adult he wont be no standard colored classic tabby.
