What breed does my cat look like?

Hi ajay. I love your pictures.
A very striking Brown Classic Tabby cat with rich color. but of a somewhat different type than the classic tabby Tallulah in the other thread. Looks like this cat has a rather longer head.
I love his belly spots -- which is something often seen in cats with a tabby pattern. & I love how the very classic tabby pattern comes down his legs.
The Classic Tabby pattern is seen from cats that descend from cat populations mostly in Europe, but there are some in east Africa and the Middle East.
Breed, well that's difficult because cats are not like dogs that are usually a specific breed or mix of breeds selectively bred by humans. The vast majority of cats have just bred randomly on their own and have a mix of genes from the general cat population in their own part of the world.
This is a beautiful cat but probably not a specific breed.
& he (?) honestly looks like he could be from various places in the world. Where is he really from?

He was born in Michigan about 7 years ago. Maybe it would help if I told you a little about him? He was extremely social and craved attention often. He would sit in anyone’s lap who would let him. He was not super active though. He was also vocal and made this unique chortling sound. I don’t ever remember him being mean to anyone and was just super friendly. I have never met a cat as friendly as he was, he was almost pushy for peoples attention. He was smart, he would know when he’s being talked to without hearing his name, he would know what my car sounded like and could run to the window when he’d hear me pull up to my apt. His sister was the opposite in regards to temperament and pretty much hid all the time and didn’t like people. I don’t know if that helps but I figured I would put it out there incase.

was born in Michigan about 7 years ago. Maybe it would help if I told you a little about him? He was extremely social and craved attention often. He would sit in anyone’s lap who would let him. He was not super active though. He was also vocal and made this unique chortling sound. I don’t ever remember him being mean to anyone and was just super friendly. I have never met a cat as friendly as he was, he was almost pushy for peoples attention. He was smart, he would know when he’s being talked to without hearing his name, he would know what my car sounded like and could run to the window when he’d hear me pull up to my apt. His sister was the opposite in regards to temperament and pretty much hid all the time and didn’t like people. I don’t know if that helps but I figured I would put it out there incase.

Thank you! Yes, unfortunately the poor guy died suddenly of something related to his heart at only 7. Thats why I am trying to find someone similar because he was the absolute perfect companion. Also, the sound he made is apparently referred to as trilling rather than chortling. I thought he might have some maine coon in him since he was pretty heavy and his personality perfectly aligned with that breed. He was short haired but needed daily combing because of shedding. I will definitely post something nice on that page as well, I appreciate the suggestion. I will write something nicer and more well thought out for him though.
