Sphynx or Devon rex?

I'm considering either a sphynx or a devon rex. Having a hard time choosing one as both seem perfect for me. I guess the one thing that would bump one over the other is ~ which breed is the most affectionate / loving/ lap cat? Which breed considers you the center of their world and will spend most of the day in your lap?

Also side note~ is the sphynx really THAT oily and smelly even if you give them the prerequisite once a week bath?

A friend has three Sphynx who are very greasy, to the extent that they leave spots on her furniture if she doesn't wipe them down with warm water every day. All three are from the same breeder, though, so you probably can't extrapolate that to "All Sphynx cats are greasy." They're very cuddly.
