I was trying to put on Jake's soft paws. He is 10 weeks old today and I just wanted to see if they will fit. The hind claws all fit, but I had clipped the front ones and I later read that I wasn't supposed to...so the front paws did not really fit. I am worried about him licking off the remaining glue though...Any experiences and opinions on that?

Also-while I'm on here I want to mention- it was really hard to get him to stay still to put them on. I've had no trouble with clipping his nails, but with this it seems like he is scared of them and is meowing a lot when I put them on. I get the feeling like the putting of the cap itself hurts him...Could that be an issue?

I've never even touched soft paws before but I doubt if the glue is specifically for the soft paws it would be harmless - ring up the suppliers if in doubt.

Can't help with them hurting but I do know a lot of members use them, so hopefully they'll see this thread.
