Neat I wonder if the rescue has asked bra clasp manufacturers for donations or clasps that are defective in some way and aren't suitable for use?

There's no limit to being resourceful and this proves it.
I watch Dr. K's Exotic Animal ER on National Geographic and have seen her repair several turtle or tortoise shells.
