Reaction to flea meds

Both kitties have been on Revolution for flea control (and whatever all it works on.) My Cissa was fine on the low dose, but when raised, got a bald spot on her neck. I forgot about it and the next month it happened again. Talked to the vet and she said that sometimes happens and to try three areas instead of just one....still happened.

Poor baby, it looks so horrid this bald spot with a scab.

The vet said if the problem happened again (which it did) that we would just try something else.

My question is, did this happen to your cat and which flea control didn't cause the problem?

This hasn't happened to me, but I have read that some people switch off between two or three different brands month to month to prevent things like this. Actually, Revolution is a little strong, IMO, if all you want to do is protect against fleas. I'd suggest Frontline.
