Nay, if real purebred ragdoll he should be longhair, or at least mediumhair... Thus fluffy tail...

But quite a few kittens change re hair lengh. Sometimes they seems as changelings...

If you have reason to believe he IS a ragdoll, its just to wait.

best way for us to answer that is to give us a pic of the kitten. I've seen some ragdoll babies that are pure fluff and others that look questionably fluffy until they reach late kittenhood where they bloom into it lol
