Hi, my cat is very pregnant. I took her to a vet about 17 days ago and he said everything was perfect and she would have them in 10-15 days. A couple of days ago I noticed a white vaginal discharge. It then turned white with a bit of yellow, she doesn’t clean it and it hardens to a greenish colour, it doesn’t have any bad smell. She’s in very good form- eating playing etc and she has started licking her belly a lot and her milk has come on way more. I have been able to feel kittens moving for about 2 weeks now but the discharge is worrying me. Iv read that it is an infection but the other websites are saying it could be mucus plug or just some discharge.
Anyone know if it’s bad or not? thanks
Sorry for the long post

Has she dropped yet?

I don’t know, does that mean her belly will be closer to the ground? Will she look less fat?

Yes, exactly. Not all drop in the same way, sometimes its very obvious. Its easier for you whom know her and are there, to decide if she has suddenly become less voluminous...
But by your reaction I gather she has. This means she is very near now. We still cant know the exact hour, but it nearing with every step.

Vaginal discharge is normal at the end of pregnancy. It sounds like your cat may be losing her mucus plug.

Keep us posted! :)

Great!

Please weigh the kittens each day so you can make sure they’re all doing well.

Are you able to keep mom inside and 100% away from intact males?
