I do not know if this is normal but my cat lost her first litter of kittens few weeks ago, the were premieture but i ended up getting a seven week old kitten on mothers day from my kids, at first mama kitty was jissing and swatting the kitten but right now she tried to pick it up by the back of its neck and runn with it,, mind you she grabed its hole head, is thisa normal should i let it happen or what? the kitten is crying when she did it?

Well I think it would be great for the kitten since he is way to young to be away from his mother anyways. A motherly cat would be a good thing. BUT has the kitten been tested and vaccinated? Has the mother been tested since she became pregnant? There are so many diseases floating around out there, depending on how your cat ended up pregnant, if she mated with a local tom cat then she could have picked up anything. Anyways, until everyone is tested and vaccinated and dewormed, I would keep them seperate!
