Older cat arriving in kitten's territory

dear members ......I'd love to read comments from owners who have introduced an older cat (say 4 years old and upwards) to a very young cat (9 months old and vicinity) and how that experience went for you.

I realize that nearly everything in life is case-by-case, but still, I'd love to hear any type of comment/advice/etc.

As you might have guessed, a few weeks from now, this scenario could be real for me

I haven't had this specific experience, but I did want to encourage you to read this thread about how to successfully introduce a new cat to a resident cat. If you use these techniques you are alomst guaranteed to have a successful introduction.
