It started at 1:30 this a.m. - the kitten nest is right next to my bed - and I heard the constant baby crying - I'm a light sleeper anyway, waited for about 6 continuous cries, then put the light on to check on everyone - The 'runt' (which is now the 'pig') had backed its way out of the box and couldn't get all the way back in! (The inside of the box has a rice 'bumper' which I thought would keep them all in ) I quickly picked him up, kissed his face and put him with all the others who were happily feeding away. He got right into it and Sammi gave me a quick 'mew' (Thanks mom!)
5:30 a.m. and Sammi's up on my back trying her hardest to get me to notice her (her way of saying, OK I'm STARVING here!!) - so off to the kitchen we both go, get her food for her and back to bed...
7:30 and Sammi's up again, this time she wants pats and loves, and playtime!! I was so excited to see her getting back to the usual routine - albeit a bit early!!
