Hello! I am new to this forum and I was wondering.. my new mama kitty had three kittens that are about a week and a half. Just a few days ago, she seemed to come down with a cold, and now two of her kittens seem to have it as well. I have wiped their eyes with a warm cloth and was like pondering if it gets bad enough, to administer lysine or doxycycline? I would love some advice and thoughts. THank you so much in advance!!

Lysine is totally harmless, so you can always try with this. Also, lysine bites somewhat on virus, at least some of them. Im not sure doxycycline bites on virus, antibiotica are usually good for bacteria infection whom easily follow up virus-infections.

Perhaps you can ask your vet for clavamox drops. That is usually what is prescribed for upper respiratory infections (URI’s).
