New cat owner...

I recently adopted an adult cat, and not that it matters, but I'd like to know what breed he is. He's large, black, had short thick fur. He's affectionate, but not much of a cuddler.

       He is beautiful. From what I can see in the pix, he looks like he has a little white patch on his chest. That would make him a Tuxedo cat . I have one also. He will become more loving to you with just a little more time. Enjoy him . He now has a wonderful home.

Yes he has a white chest patch & white fur inside his ears. His name is Epic, and he already is extremely loving. I was born without arms or legs and he gets up on the couch like that so I can reach to pet him. It is just us so we have a pretty close bond already.
