Medigap Insurance Policies

I have the big birthday this year and have been getting all kinds of offers in my mailbox for supplement plans. I currently have private insurance through Blue Cross, but it is very expensive. I am trying to figure out if I would be covered as well if I drop the private and purchase one of the MediGap supplement policies. Does anyone have any knowledge about them and how good the coverage is.

Call your local senior center ... Most have someone who knows all the different policies available... And check every year during open enrollment, by do this I saved my mom 40 $ a month and got her better coverage
