I just got two kittens from a farm. Took them in right away and they got their deworming meds, with the second dose set for the 19th. One kitten is doing really well and growing, but the other is still just as tiny as she was (almost half the size of the other as of now) and still with a pretty distended pot belly. Can I give her the second dose early? Or just wait until the 19th? Or should I make an appointment Monday just to be sure she's okay?

She's eating and using the litter box fine, and seems spirited and playful. But has had issues with prolapse, which has gotten better but every so often itll stick out a tiny bit after going.

Thanks! It's been years since I've had cats.

I wouldn't give her the second dose early. They are set to the lifecycle of the parasites so the second dose gets what the first didn't. Maybe you could call the vet and ask for advice.
