I just finished this fantastic book written by David Dosa, MD. Has anyone else read this? The amazing stories about the cat Oscar who lives in a Rhode Island nursing home, on the floor which has mostly Alzheimer's patients. He KNOWS when a patient is going to be passing away. He will park himself on that patient's bed and curl up with them. He is a great comfort to the family members, as well.
A "must-read" for about anybody. It's not a sad book, either, from the standpoint that the main character of this book, Oscar, is still alive and doing his work there at the nursing home. Maybe another thread has been written about this. If so, maybe someone can let me know; I'm still new at navigating around this site.
