No. He reminded me of a lynx when he was a baby and the name suits him.
I see. Next question, is you call him for longhair, but for me he doenst seems very hairy. Do I see wrongly, or is his tail bushy?
Otherwise I think you had yourself diagnosticized him correclty, mackerel tabby, and almost surely a domestic. That is enormously big gene pool, and thus, there are also quite a some of natural variations.
