Daisy has always liked jumping on the kitchen table since I adopted her. When I say, "Get down!" she is started and looks at me, but does not move. Even putting her down when I say the words does not help her make the connection. Mom tried clapping once but that does not work either. I would get a cat tree for her, but Mom refuses to even consider that as an option. Daisy does this when I am eating or drinking so I can't just get up and put her down immediately or squirt her, Is there a more practical way to teach her a lesson than covering the entire table with double sided tape?
