~ As many of us learned on this sad day 38 years ago John Winston Lennon was shot and killed outside the Dakota Apartments in Manhattan.
Do you remember The Beatles ? Have you met anyone who saw them in person ? Were you part of Beatlemania ...?

I remember reading about his death in the paper. I was 10. I was stunned and very sad that someone would do that but then again, I was 10. I had the Double Fantasy record back then but I wasn't and still am not a Beatles fan.

I was a part of the Beatlemania and I had the biggest crush on John Lennon. I was so shocked when I woke up that morning and found out that he was killed. I think of him every December 8th. I can't believe that it has been 38 years.
