Can you please take a few minutes to review the brands that you used or have used in the past?

http://www.thecatsite.com/products/category/raw

We have almost no reviews in the raw cat food section and it's something that people often ask about. Adding your review in the reviews section means it's readily accessible to members and visitors alike. It's the best way to help people looking for commercial raw cat food find the best available options.

Thank you!

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I could swear I added something I'd used in the past (not commercial raw) when I went to write a review. Is there a way for us to add products, or does a team member have to do it?

The foods I can review are these:

(Do they have to be linked to some place that sells them? Because if linking to the Nature's Variety site, each protein covers all the different formats, so it wouldn't require separate reviews for medallions vs patties vs chubs, etc).

http://www.naturesvariety.com/InstinctRaw/cat/beef

http://www.stellaandchewys.com/dog-frozenlamb.php (yes, the product is located in dog. Many commercial raw foods are marketed for dogs but appropriate for cats given taurine supplementation)

And what about providers of raw food for homemade, rather than specific products? :dk: A LOT of members are using https://www.hare-today.com/ and I believe some are using https://www.mypetcarnivore.com/ though I'm not sure there's benefit to reviewing specific products?

What about reviewing premixes? That's how I got started.

I believe anyone can add products (you can give it a try). I actually prefer to do that myself, just to make sure it's done right (i.e. the way I like it to be
). I often have to re-name the products to something more user-friendly, for example.

Products don't have to have a link, and no, they don't have to be available on Amazon. When they are available on Amazon, it makes it much easier to add them, as you can just copy and paste the ASIN number, and the system takes care of the rest. If it's not from Amazon, you have to do everything manually.

We can add providers too. I already added this one -

http://www.thecatsite.com/products/red-dog-blue-kat-raw-food

I'll add the other two you mentioned
 and the other products too.

Premixes? As in dehydrated mixes that you add water too? Basically, the answer is yes, we can add anything and everything that people use. I just need a link to the product so that I have something to work with.

I do have a question on writing reviews though. I'm not sure how to review specific flavors... I've tried all the flavors except duck, but my review would be more along the lines of "I like FP because X", as I don't have a particular thought about each flavor aside from "Jed eats Y flavor". Should I copy paste the same review for all flavors?

That's an excellent question. I'm never sure whether to have several flavors as one listing, or whether to merge them into one product page. When I think it's "just flavors", I tend to list one product. When I think it may be conceptually different products, I separate them. Since you're the one who'll be reviewing this product, and you feel it's different flavors of the same product I'll merge the listings to make things easier.

And big thanks to everyone who took the time to add their reviews! Our Commercial Raw Cat Food category looks so much better now!
