I would like to know his breed.

About two months ago my family adopted a rescue cat, but little informaton was given about his breed. It has confirmed that he is a mix of several breeds, but it doesn't get more specific than that. I will provide a picture to aid anyone looking to help. He has chartruese eyes and a tuxedo pattern:View media item 333967

I think you shall contend with the overall label of domestic shorthair, tuxedo pattern...   After all, the great majority of cats are domestics. Not very many are either good look alikes to some breed.

Be happy he is good looking fellow.  And if you earn it, he will surely be your good friend and protector.
