How warm do cats like to be?

Darren brought Ana in the room and she slinked back over to me and under my blanket.
She pawed the blanket over head and is up against me about as tight as can be. She is making *me* overly warm.
I scooted away and she scooted closer to me. Crazy girl. How warm do cats like to be. I assume over 98.6°.

A healthy cat's normal internal body temperature is between about 100.5 and 102.5 F.

QUESTION~ We are going out of town tomororrow until Sunday around noon. Can I turn my a/c to 75° if we keep it (or try) at 70° tp 72°.
Can I turn it up a bit warmer since cats body heat is warmer or do they adjust to the room being no warmer than 72°?

They will have enough kibble and water. They won't get their normal wet.
We don't know anyone and DO.NOT.TRUST our neighbors on the right. I am taking any and all of my prescription bottles out of the house. IYCWIM!
Neighbors to the left are nice enough... I really do not want anyone in the house. If we were gone any longer, we would pay for them to be housed. But I know they will be fine with their kibble and water and 4 litterboxes.

House will be locked and alarm on.
