One year ago today I brought Felix home. I had lost my childhood cat at 16 the December before, and I decided it was finally time to adopt another cat...this time one that would be my own responsibility. I saw Felix's picture on the shelter website and he immediately grabbed my attention. When I went to meet him with my mom, he sniffed around the room and then came up to me and my mom and started using our legs as a scratching post...I knew he was the one for me.
