good spay/neuter links?

Hello all,

I'm hoping that some of you who work with shelters may know of some good educational sites with information about spaying, and some shocking statistics about the number of pets that are euthanized.

This is actually for a dog down the street - her owner just lets her run around the neighborhood and breed

, (she's a beagle mix, and a chihuahua is chasing her right now).

I want to print some info & give it to him along with the number of the local low-cost spay/neuter service.

Tess, glad you found it helpful!!! I just realized that at the top of the spay/neuter page it doesn't make it very clear that there are informational resources if you scroll down. I'll chat with Heidi about it (valanhb), but maybe we should consider putting links right up at top that take you down to the appropriate sections...
