I just bought a new bag of Felidae the other day, and the kibbles definitely look a lot different than the last bag I bought (much lighter in colour). Fortunately the cats seem to like this kind much more, but I'd like to hear what you guys think of the new ingredients.

Old:
Chicken meal, brown rice, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), eggs, flax seed meal, sun cured alfalfa meal, sunflower oil, chicken, lecithin, linoleic acid, amaranth, dl methionine, taurine, kelp, cranberries, apples, plus various extra vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients.

New:
Chicken meal, brown rice, chicken fat (preserved with mixed tocopherols), egg product, cracked pearled barley, peas, millet, natural flavor, flaxseed, potassium chloride, choline chloride, methionine, taurine, sun cured alfalfa meal, inulin (from chicory root), lecithin, sage extract, cranberries, beta carotene, rosemary extract, sunflower oil, yucca schidigera extract, plus various extra vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients.

As for analysis and caloric content, both are similar. They seem to list different items, but of the ones they list it's all the same other than taurine being slightly higher in the new formula (0.25% vs 0.20%)

Used to be one meat two grain and fairly hypo allergenic

Now one meat three grains and more potential allergens
