Does anyone know the story "the cat who walks alone"?

I was looking for anyone who knows this ancient fable and who uses it to relate to cats in todays world.

I've never heard of an ancient fable like that.

I can only think of Kipling's The Cat that Walked by Himself - one of the Just So Stories, written around 1900.

You know that's the one im talking about. I was told it was an ancient tale when I was a child. How do you think this story helps us to relate to cats, pets, and the family unit of today? I wish children was still taught this story in todays world.....at school, around the dinner table, anywhere. It would help kids to better understand their pets.
