I'm looking for some advice for my cat's food. She has a chicken allergy/sensitivity and we also suspect eggs and salmon to give her some issues. To make a long story short, after vomiting and diarrhea and trips to the vet with no explanation except to feed a vet-formulated chicken and corn meal canned food, my husband and I realized we needed to make it ourselves.
We started with Urban King premix and followed the directions, adding fish oil and chicken liver powder(which she does fine with). We used ground turkey and cooked it, all of her issues went away and within a couple weeks she became this happy energetic cat.
Now that we had that in check we knew it needed to be more nutritionally balanced and decided to try raw. We followed the recipe from Cat Nutrition, the one without real bones, leaving out the heart, using turkey and chicken liver. After a month of doing her wonderfully we decided to add chicken heart and that made her puke again, so we gave her the recipe without chicken heart and she still puked. We then cooked the recipe, added Urban King premix and she's stopped puking and is back to normal.

Here is the recipe I'd like to try for her, but I feel like I'm reading and reading and I'm still confused about all of this and it's getting a little overwhelming. Plus I have a ton of supplements that I bought and a bag of Urban King. And honestly, we can't afford to keep taking her to the vet who has no answers except to feed the food that they sell which is absolute garbage. They're also not a big fan of the raw/home made  foods.

This is what I want to try for her...

3lbs turkey, ground and chunked deboned breasts

14 oz beef heart

7oz beef liver

1 cup water + 1 cup Urban King(wholeground/freeze dried sweet potato, carrot, barley greens, alfalfa, broccoli, blueberries, aple, natural calcium carbonate, watercress, spinach, celery ,carob, saccharamyces cerevisae, cranberries, pecans, walnuts, flax meal, parsley, ginger root) - I feel this might not be necessary to add in the long run, but this mix has been very helpful with correcting her digestive issues.

Mix together and bake in the oven.

Vitamin mix, added after cooking:

4 tablespoons bonemeal, 4 caps glandular supplement, 4000 mg fish oil(avoiding salmon, I have a mackerel, anchovy and sardine oil mix), 800 IU vit e, 200 MG b-complex. Plus Taurine, not sure on how much or if I should just sprinkle some on every meal? I would mix this in with water, but I'm not sure how much water. It would depend on the consistency of the cooked food. My cat drinks water without a problem so it's not a huge concern.

Any advice would be so appreciated. Right now we're feeding her CatNutrition.org recipe, but it's been cooked, so I'm adding a bit of Taurine and Urban King to every meal.

Your cat sounds a bit like my Rogue who is allergic against most anything commercially available. How old is she? Does she eat chunks of meat? (everything is a whole lot easier when they do that.)

The Urban King sounds like a lot of veggie stuff for an allergic cat... (rather something I'd have in my morning green drink

) Are you sure it helps her?

Yes she does eat chunks, I chunk up turkey breast along with the ground and she likes it a lot. I think it may be the probiotics or the ginger in the UrbanKing that helps her, because on both instances where she wasn't well when we added it she bounced back fairly quickly.
We're not really certain what all her allergies/sensitivities are, but I think the mix has been a positive addition.
