I bought a cornish hen today, for Jennie. What do I do with it??? :lol3::lol3::lol3::lol3:

It will be the first time she gets bone. That is, unless I debone it?

I just cut up my first one the other day. I had no clue what to do with my Cornish Hen either, LOL.

I basically cut it in half, then cut the wings and drumsticks off then cut the two halves in half and portioned up the breast and the rest of the dark meat. The wings are so cute and tiny :)

I've never tried cornish hen. I wasn't up for getting the meat off of there, but if I wanted to introduce bones to anyone, since quail are hard to find around here, I'd start there.

If she hasn't eaten bone before give her the ribs, see how she does.  I don't know, my cat ate bone in right off the bat so I pretty much just chop it into 2oz hunks for her meals, a wing, a leg, a cube of meat.
