"...the truth is that cats in general do love their owners but they have their own lives."
dang. so I have to make an appointment to give my cat some love cuddles and pets?
Interesting article the BF forwarded to me. I hope you all at TCS enjoy it too:

I'm sure a lot of us already knew a lot of what was in the article.
its funny about what they say about cats being solitary creatures. I mean to some extent I'm sure all cat owners know this, but I've seen so many cat owners say "omg but my kitty is so lonely!".
3 cats later i'm realizing, that perhaps all 3 of my cats would benefit from being the solo cat in a household. especially my girl Jet. For sure Charlie. He's very good at zoning everything and everyone out...and I'm sure in his head he's the solo cat in the house. Gunther is still young, so he's still a bit clingy. He went from being stuck to Charlies side to now being stuck to Jet's side. He's only recently started to come to me for affection and love and started to sleep at the foot of the bed.
I'll be moving at the end of this month. to a one bedroom apartment with the BF, so no more room mates. I'm guessing each cat will stake out their own room and will mostly be solo and keep to only themselves once we move out. Right now with my current living situation, me, the bf, and my 3 cats are pretty much in one room all the time as we live with room mates. there is no communal area in this house other than the kitchen. it will be interesting to see the dynamics change between the 3. I'm guessing Jet will always be in the bedroom, or some place that is heavy on my scent...probably in my closet. Charlie would probably be the king of the living room. sprawled out on the couch for everyone to see him reigning over his "land". and Gunther will mostly likely go between the two until he get's older and finds his own spot in the new apartment.
anyways i just kind started a whole 'nother rant on my own. enjoy the article! i'm looking forward to the mini series coming out. It should be very interesting to watch and learn.
