Cats and christmas lights????

Ok for the last week me and Robert descided to take 2 cats to view christmas lights at the local park. Every year they put up displays from each store or really the some stores put their own up. Well Babi HAmpster and Trsih all got to see the lights and guess what after freaking out for 2 minutes in the car on the way up there and well when they had seen the lights they just all of a sudden calmed down. They all loved the big tree that was lite up in the middle. I swear thay must love christmas lights.

Do your cats like them????

You bet! The lights on the Christmas tree have some kind of hypnotic effect!

However, after a while the kitties swat at them.

Comere gets a little nutty when I pull the lights out to hang them on the tree and around my living room. It's only while they are on the floor... he'll roll into them and sniff them and get himself tangled into them and play with them (no biting though). Once I put them on the tree on around my china cabinets, he leaves them alone (but prefers to sleep in that room during x-mas time). Something about them he just likes

My kitty stares at the Christmas Tree filled with lights, he is just fascinated with them.
