Hi guys,

my one year old female got spayed two days ago. I have the cone on her but she managed to pull out the stitches except one.
I have attached a picture of her wound.
can anyone advise me on how to keep her from going at it and anything I can do to help speed up the healing process? Also should I contact the vet to make them aware of this... any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Kitty90 and welcome to TCS! :wave3:

I think you should send the photo to the vet and ask their opinion. It looks nice and clean but could well split and may need a restitch.
To stop it happening again, you could consider a onesie or spay panties.

Hello and welcome to TCS. Sorry, though, for the situation that's brought you here. Not sure how you can prevent her from getting to the stitches, other than the cone, which isn't working.

Although the incision doesn't look too bad, I would definitely contact your vet and let them know what's going on.

This is not intended to be in place of contacting your vet, but TCS does have this article on Spaying And Neutering – What To Look For After Surgery – TheCatSite Articles which might be helpful.
