Cat Peed

Hi
My 8 month cat (female) jumped on bookcase (at 1:30am) and dropped a vase of flowers on floor, which ironically is by the bathroom door, where her litter box is. I cleaned it up and went to bed , at about 3:45am she got my bed and peed... & made a small poo on floor!
Why did she do that? She refuse to come to me.
I have noticed she went to use her lotto box again.
How can I prevent her from messing again?

It may have been that when the vase dropped it scared her so she was afraid to come back to this area to use her litterbox and went on the floor instead. It probably won’t happen again but you could try moving the litterbox slightly away from this area.
