Yesterday, I found out that my cat has worms, so she got deworming medication (tablets). But during the night, she started cleaning herself more than usual. Even now, she suddenly wakes up from her sleep to clean herself or scratch herself. Is it still the worms affecting her, though she got medication over 24h ago, or could it be something else?

Cat is cleaning herself too often?

Cleaning/scratching herself all over, or just her anus? If all over, she might just be having a reaction to the wormer. I would call the vet and ask if the wormer they prescribed could cause this reaction. It will probably subside soon, but I would still call them and ask about it.
