Hi everyone,
looking for some insight. I took my cat into the vet yesterday for a health exam. She’s spayed female about 2 years old. She is very healthy, 8 pounds. Only thing is vet said she needs 6-7 teeth pulled, she only looked at my cats teeth for maybe 20 seconds and goes “up 6-7 teeth need to go”. I was quoted 1600$. I am all for fixing my cats teeth and yes her gum line is red. But she eats fine, no drooling no signs of pain I know they hide it well. Has anyone gone thru something similar? I am gonna get a second opinion before I spend that money. I thought they would clean and do x rays first, then come up with a plan. But 6-7 teeth for a 2 year old seemed extreme. Thanks for advice
