Cat collar question

Hi everyone, I hope you guys are doing well. So I happen to find a collar with a 2 centimeters width while broswing online. This is a bit unusual knowing that most cat collars out there are 1 centimeter in width. I plan to buy it. Is it okay to put my cat that 2 cm width collar? Thank you guys

The biggest thing, for me at least, is: Is the collar breakaway?

A breakaway collar is life or death feature.

The width of the collar is more so a cat specific question and changes depending on material. If you get it and your cat can't move around properly with it one, it is too stiff or too wide. But that varies by cat and material.
